Had the most amazing first visit to the Scissor Psychologist today. Lexie was brilliant and really took her time to ensure I was happy, not only with today’s cut but with a future plan to get the best out of my hair. The salon is in a beautiful location with plenty of parking. It is clean, bright and welcoming and all of the staff are so friendly. I would highly recommend a visit if you have ever struggled to find somewhere that really knows how to cut and manage curly hair.

My very first visit to the scissor psychologist and what a great experience booked in with Emma she made me feel at ease straight away as I haven't been to a salon for over a year and had some bad experiences with my curly hair, she talked through everything and made sure I was happy with everything that she was doing. My hairdresser Amy was absolutely amazing, talking me through how she was going to approach my curly cut to get the most out of my hair type, what products to use and aftercare. I also thoroughly enjoyed the massage chair for the hair wash and the head massage which was heavenly. It was well worth the hour and a half round trip and will be booking again when I’m due the next cut.

I am so pleased with my hair, which was cut by Lexie. She listened carefully to what I wanted, discussed my options and then checked at every step that I was happy with what she was doing. I felt looked after throughout the appointment, which included a coffee and head massage, and I've already had compliments on my haircut, which was exactly what I hoped for... and well worth the 45 minute drive each way! I've been getting my hair cut at Scissor Psychologist for over a year now and the experience is always fantastic! Debbie has rescued my damaged, bleached hair and does amazing curly cuts, which is something that I previously found very hard to find. Debbie always takes the time to answer questions I have about my hair type and has taught me so much about styling and caring for my curly hair. She's absolutely brilliant. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, the salon is a lovely peaceful environment with massage chairs and high quality products. I highly recommend this salon!

Had a lovely appointment with Emma. She gently guided me through my curly haircut checking I was happy with the cut all the way through. Would definitely recommend and I will be returning for my next cut.

This really is a great salon. It’s always been a great experience love having my haircut by Anna. I actually have curly hair and she handles it perfectly. I did notice that there were three other ladies also having curly cuts so this must be a recommendation in itself. The salon is lively and lovely And has a very good happy vibe
