I swear Joseph has magic hands. He fixes problems I ask him to, AND finds and fixes problems I didn’t even know about. He is worth more money than I am able to give. Always One of the BEST massages I have EVER had! He just keeps getting better and better. Joseph Rathman has such a deep knowledge of anatomy, Physiology & Kinesiology that when combined with his interpersonal skills & strong hands you do not leave the way you came trust me! Be sure to communicate the level of pressure you want as he can erase the most stubborn of knots. I have been seeing him for several years now and, he’s a dream come true when it comes to a true Massage therapist, I can’t recommend him enough! I had a really great experience with Joey today. He did a wonderful job pinpointing problem areas as I am in the building phase for a marathon. After the massage he was willing to chat with me about exercises I can incorporate into my practice to help work on the muscles in between massages. Will definitely be excited to come back and work with him again

Phila Massages is the best in Philly! After spending so much money other places the services are definitely worth it! Everyone who has worked on me gives instant results and relief to pain. Kevin, Joey, and Ted have all be amazing and they each have taught me so much about the cause of pain in some areas of the body. This wholistic approach really shows their interest in us as clients. They also provide suggestions for maintenance, and stretching to do at home. Overall great service… you won’t be disappointed.

I cannot sufficiently articulate how outstanding my sports massage was with Joseph. He has been doing this for 10+ years, and his experience and professionalism are evident. I have been lifting and running every week for a decade and haven't taken sufficient care of my body (no massage for 3+ years). I went to Joseph with soreness and tightness in my left tricep, my right bicep, my lats and lower back, my left hamstring, and my right quad and was an absolute mess.
