On a very stressful day for me recently my appointment at Trends was the light at the end of the tunnel. Excellent friendly and professional service, always so welcoming. Fantastic that they are outside the very busy Hub in Hornby, much easier to access and parking on site. Highly recommend a visit over the Xmas break to treat yourself :-)

I have very thin hair and am balding which makes my hair very challenging to cut. Edison is an expert stylist and has mastered the technique of cutting and styling both Eastern and Western hair. Jack and his team always provide a warm welcome and clients whether they are Asian or European experience an enjoyable and successful session. I highly recommend this hair salon.

It was so great to be offered a free appt to discuss my hair options. I found Jill to be Brilliant and understanding of what I wanted and what may work best the longer term goal. I've now had my hair styled and again Jill was brilliant to deal with and I really enjoyed my time in her care. Would highly recommend anyone seeking a new hairdresser to come and meet Jill and perhaps make an appointment for a free meet and chat about your hair.

I was referred to Hornby branch due to cancellation at city central branch (with no communication). So I went to Hornby but very annoyed with the service from city central. Upon aririval The manager was amazing. Great service and exceeded my expectations. She went above and beyond and will recommend to anyone!!

Michelle is simply the best hairdresser I've ever had (and I've been getting my hair cut for a few decades now! 😅). She always makes sure you're 100% happy, is always friendly and works sssooo hard for her clients. My very discerning daughter even switched hairdressers to start going to her this year!

Overall lovely staff! My hair was saved from any damage from reaction to bleach which I'm grateful. They did a great job there and the styling and recommendations. Considering that my hair was saved and toned through that was the highlight. But not as much work was done to my hair because I couldn't get the total hair colour bleach highlights and dark underneath done which I assumed would bring the price down or not be a huge expense. But the total price was a bit pricy overall.

My second time at this hairdresser and the experience is so lovely and relaxing! The hair stylist is amazing! Friendly and kind however above all her services are excellent. I’ve left the salon feeling great every time. Highly recommend this hair salon! It will definitely be my go to hairdresser in Christchurch. Thank you so much!!!
