Even though I was in a bit of discomfort-l still made the effort to get myself in the gym and try and get my ball rolling again. Even though all we did was go for a walk it’s these little things that build up to greater achievements. Thank you for supporting me on this journey. I couldn’t do it without you!

I’ve been through it this week, and even with cramp in my leg I wasn’t going to let that stop me. Having a little control over what we did today definitely made the difference. Coming off my antidepressants has given me a huge lease of life and an energy and motivation that can only be used in the gym. I want a baby so much and now things are changing quickly the motivation is growing and with your help, support and laughter along the way we are going to kill it. I say we coz team work makes the dream work.

Can I just say…I think I love Bench Presses! Easing back in after about 6 weeks off was easier than what I thought. But I want to come, things are changing for the better and now Penny is on board I’ve more control over what I can do and what I can’t. I’m defo ending this year on a high if the last few weeks and the last 2 sessions are anything to go by. Let the fun commence 🏋️

Today was the day I found the strength to push myself that little harder. It felt really good and it’s even better that we have got my arms working to some extent that they don’t cause me pain. It’s great being able to move and start nudging that ball forward to reaching my goals.

It was like I’d never been away! Ok I almost cried at one point but my legs don’t know what stairs are like nowadays 😂. But as always was a good session, good chat, good understanding of what’s going on and what’s happened and planning the next moves to go forward. I did it again…no hypos. As much as I hated getting up at the crack of dawn I enjoyed my session today more than I thought I would. I felt I was more focussed on what I was doing and what I wanted to achieve. Thank you!

Today was NOT my best. But I think running on nearly empty and in pain but still wanting to reach that end goal, I pushed myself with your encouragement. That’s what having a PT is all about - someone who knows you can when you think you can’t just by pushing you that little bit harder. Thank you

My heart was breaking a little bit today but it’s not forever. I’ll be back when I can for 2 sessions a week. But today was good because even though my body threw in a hypo we still managed to get something out my little tank. We discussed a plan moving forward and how I can achieve what is needed to be done at home in the mean time. Hopefully this won’t be a hurdle that can’t be overcome. Still gunning for that bubba 🤛🏻💪🏻

Today wasn’t my best day. But I came along and I tried, that’s enough for me, trying means not giving up hope. Yes I was in a fair amount of pain but I’m not going to get far if I give up. Yeah maybe I should have stayed home but every small workout leads to the end goal.

I was really looking forward to today’s session then my sugars went and blew it for me. But I still took the chance and did a little more and even just that extra push from both you and me on that last row was worth it. Even if we were both a little bit meh today we still did what we could. I’m not going down without a fight but we knew that.

Ok I wasn’t feeling the best today and my body threw me everything it had but you know what even though I felt like I was gonna die, I made it. Things have slipped but things are changing in a good way and that will make working out a lot easier too. Let’s do it!

Was a gamble training today but as I said I’m not a quitter. I think I did quite well until the last round on the assault bike when my lungs really began to protest, surprised it wasn’t my legs. But I am feeling it in my legs in a good way.

I knew today would be a challenge, when I’m due my period and throwing in a workout can always be interesting. Yes the colour drained from my face, yes I was shattered even before we began, but my mind definitely stepped up to the plate and pushed me on. I didn’t even mind being pinged in the shins by the resistance bands 😂😂 not just my PT but I think a friend for life

Was tough in the heat but knowing my limits and pushing them a little goes a long way. Starting to feel good about myself. Never thought I’d see the day where I’d be pushing myself and being told I’m doing great and running rings around my peers. Feels good! Thank you

That has to have been one of the most challenging workouts we’ve done and NO hypos. While I felt achy and sweaty after each set I kept reminding myself of the bigger goal and that I’m probably within touching distance. Thank you for working me hard it means a lot

I have been training with Syl for well over a year now. I started with one session a week then increased to two sessions. Syl is so encouraging, my strength and fitness has increased massively over the last year. Every session is different which I love. Highly recommended.
