We booked a double floating experience in the Marino Room. We were really impressed with it, everything was so cosy, beautiful and clean. We were completely sore from the Taranaki Summit Climb we did the day before. We had a really enjoyable conversation with the owner and she was so kind to offer us a Normatec Compression service as a bonus. We loved the experience and it is a good reason on its own to return to New Plymouth soon.

Run don’t walk to book in! I went to the sanctuary to help with a sports injury I left feeling lighter on my legs and refreshed. Phil was very informative and friendly. Excellent experience and service. Highly recommend!

Had a sports massage with Jess, she was absolutely amazing, perfect pressure and was constantly asking how it was feeling. Super attentive and definitely knows her stuff. I will definitely be returning, came out feeling so much better than when I walked through the doors.

A truly serene experience. From the moment we stepped inside, we felt welcomed by the peaceful and calming atmosphere. We booked the ‘Sauna & Float Package’. Having not floated before, Eleanor talked us through the process and what to expect. The experience was phenomenal. The perfect self love treatment that encourages you to let go of daily stresses and tension. Eleanor and Phil are exceptional hosts. We’re so fortunate to have a health centre in New Plymouth such as the Floatation Sanctuary.

I am a competitive bodybuilder and was looking for a slight edge, - I have had infrared saunas before, but the Floatation Sanctuary was next level. Eleanor took the time prior to my appointment to find out my needs and why I was there, and had some great advice, Eleanor definitely knows her industry. I would absolutely recommend Floatation to anyone, not just for sports or athletes. The environment and atmosphere was incredible, A1 standard of the rooms and the facilities.
