I hadn’t been to Sanctuary for a couple of weeks, as I’d been away… well, I got a big welcome back! I highly recommend the Winter Magic Special - combining Thai massage, hot stones and reflexology. So good! The massage pressure was perfect, and I got up 90 minutes later feeling fabulous. A brilliant way to start the day. Kob kun ka. 🙏

My massage was done by BT, who I had already met at another place and I was so happy to see her again. She knows. her job in and out, will massage away all the knots and aches. I have has a lot of massages done by different masseurs and mostly by Thai personnel, and BT is by far the best. I just hope she stays around for as long as I stay around. I couldn't function without her. I trust and value her as she enables me to go out and be physical and do my job. Love you BT. Thank you and see you again.

AMAZING. I am a regular at the Sanctuary, with the traditional Thai massage being a favourite. But no two massages are ever the same… there is no predictability, no boredom. Por quickly assesses what the body needs - today she didn’t even ask me where was sore, but quickly worked it out. Having trained previously as an orthopaedic nurse, I trust her implicitly with a niggly knee injury. Her colleagues are also warm and friendly, and I finish every visit to Sanctuary Birkenhead by floating down the stairs. I am a better person after a massage from Por and her magic hands. I had a fabulous massage at Siwalai Thai Massage by Terri. I have been there several times and I am never disappointed. All the ladies are lovely and I come away feeling relaxed. The place is beautifully set up and has a great atmosphere.

I travel from the south of Auckland to the North just to get these ladies to massage me . I have been going to them for a few years now and they are all by far the best I’ve ever had including having Thai massages around the world. The new look also is really tropical so you feel like you step into a slice of paradise when you arrive. I guarantee you will not regret your decision to try their massages

I recently visited this place and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was calming, with soft lighting and soothing music that immediately put me at ease. The staff was friendly and professional, making sure I felt comfortable throughout the session. I felt incredibly relaxed, with significantly reduced muscle stiffness and a renewed sense of energy. Wonderful experience, was my first Thai massage with aromatherapy. Jenny was excellent and really looked after me, took care of a sports injury in my shoulder as well. Beautiful, quiet and relaxing atmosphere. If you are sensitive or have a low pain tolerance, best to advise the staff - she really got all the kinks out of me and it hurt SO GOOD! :D
