Nadia did my hair today and she did an amazing job! Very professional and really makes you feel comfortable and at home. I got knotless fulani braids and they've turned out perfectly. Phil did my wedding makeup and I couldn’t recommend her enough! I looked amazing and felt so confident on my wedding day. She did some of my bridal parties makeup too and they were all extremely happy. She was so friendly, professional and personable. Fairly priced and was willing to travel to barnard castle. Even helped my mam with her makeup and she has very sensitive skin. Her skills are amazing and she can work with any skin tone. If you’re looking for a fantastic make up artists that adapts to you and what you like, then she’s the one for you!

Philmena was amazing! She's friendly and really takes her time to work with your hair. She so professional and really takes her time to explain the products/techniques shes using so you can replicate at home. After struggling to find a hairdresser in the area who is confident to cut curls, I won't be going anywhere else in the future and would highly recommend this salon

I cannot recommend Phil Mak Hair enough! Philomena and Nadia are THE loveliest ladies and absolute experts in all things hair; caucasian, afro and everything in between. I have long, thick Asian hair so I know it's difficult to get braids to look neat but Nadia put her magic into my knotless braids and they look absolutely perfect. The pre-consultation was so simple to choose my braid style, colour and appointment time. I thought I would get braids as a one-off treat for myself but after experiencing how beautiful they look and feel I can't wait to come back for my next set - thank you! 😍
