I have a 9 year old non-verbal autistic grandson and a haircut experience is overwhelming with major meltdowns BUT Leigh and the team always make it a simple and quick experience for him and US. We pre book his appointment so he can have his haircut in the Sensory Room and like I say the appointment is quick and simple. THANK YOU.

This was my Granddaughter Lucy's first visit. She is 2 years and 4 months old and I wondered how she would react to her first ever haircut. Kirsten was amazing with Lucy and Lucy enjoyed every minute of it all. Straight away Lucy knew which car she wanted to sit in. Once Kirsten put the I pad on and Peppa pig came on Lucy didn't move an inch. A lovely place to go and the hairdressers were lovely. We came away with a first hair cut certificate and a cute envelope with some of Lucy's locks in. Great place 👌

Laura was phenomenal. We always have a good experience at Fidgets but she really took the time to think about ways to approach my son to keep him calm and sang to him all the way through which he loved. First haircut with no tears, I couldn’t recommend this place enough

I had a wonderful experience at Fidget Saloon for my toddler’s haircut. The stylist who attended to my child was incredibly patient and did an excellent job. They ensured my little one was comfortable throughout, and the haircut turned out perfect. I highly recommend Fidget Saloon for anyone looking for a great experience with kids!

My 2 year old had been absolutely fine the previous 2 times we'd been to Fidgets but this time decided she REALLY did not want her hair cutting! I thought we'd have to just leave but the hairdresser (Bobby?) was absolutely brilliant and didn't rush us as all. She had loads of ideas to try and distract her and we did end up with a haircut, bit by bit in between lots of screaming! Thank you.

Bobby was fantastic with my son as usual. He used to hate haircuts but sits so well now thanks to her patience. My youngest daughter isn't keen on the idea of a haircut so she even took the time to sit her in one of the cars and brush and plait her hair so she will be happy to come for a trim in a couple of weeks.

Really good haircut for my little girl. She sits still fine, but I find that a lot of salons are not interested in kids haircuts, you either can't get an appointment or if you do, it's a crappy job done in a rush. We'll definitely be back here! Thank you

Jenny took great care and attention especially as our son had a nasogastric tube and due to the relaxed and friendly surroundings he had a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend Fidgets if you're ever around the Whitley Bay area. Keep up the great work!!
