Deya is the best! I have thick hair and I was worried about if KMB Studio didn’t have texturizing shears, but thank goodness I asked! They have shears to help thin your thick hair out if you don’t want to deal with a puffy lion’s mane especially with Chicago’s humidity lol! 🦁😜 and the conditioning mask made my hair feel soft and less frizzy! Today I had a new client custom signature facial w/ Amaiya. She was very informative, professional and made me feel very comfortable. As a new client, she asked me questions about my skin care routine, the products I used, and skincare treatments. I’ve had in the past. From there, she explained the type of facial she was customizing for me and my skin type. She explained everything that she was doing every step of the way, and more importantly, every product that she put on my face. I highly recommend 10/10 and will be back

Honestly, it’s one of my best experiences. I was so very comfortable. The bed is nice, usually after a facial my back is killing me, no problems this time. I felt very comfortable with aesthetician and she kept me very informed throughout the entire process. I’m super happy, I will go back!!

This was my first facial, so I didn't know what to expect, but I felt welcomed and comfortable from the start with Amirah. The atmosphere is wonderful, the conversation was great, and I love that I can make an appointment after 9-5 works hours. I can see myself going back here over and over and over again!!

I travel the country 10 months out of the year, so I’ve sat in a lot of different barber chairs from coast to coast. That being said it my opinion that Shine on is the best barber shop in the country. I’m not local to Chicago either, I travel from Arkansas to get my haircut and beard by Julio. I’d trust any member of the staff to cut my hair, everyone is top notch. At shine on you are made to feel like family. I feel like the most handsome man alive every time I leave their establishment.

I appreciate my facial being customized to my changing skin and this time of year and am a fan of the clean products used. Initially I was going to forego any extractions as I tend to breakout afterwards at other places. I decided to have it done and It was gentle and no breakouts! My skin is smoother, more hydrated and energized! Annais is very sweet and it’s evident that she loves what she does!
