When the gel extensions grow out a rebalance is needed within 2-3 weeks. This places the apex (strengthening arch) back in optimal position to prevent breakage and protect the natural nail. 

* do not go longer than 3 weeks as this is damaging to the natural nail
* removal required after no more than 2 or 3 rebalances.
