Hopi ear candling, also known as thermal-auricular therapy, is an alternative treatment that involves placing a hollow candle, usually made from cotton or linen soaked in beeswax, honey, or essential oils, into the ear canal. The candle is lit at one end while the other end is placed gently into the ear. A reflexology session lasts 60 minutes in total which includes consultation and approximately 50 minutes nands-on.
