Paw & Nail Care

Warm oxygenated water bubbles gently massage the body.  Ozone provides a sterile environment perfect for post surgery exercise, relaxation, geriatric dogs, anxiety, the treatment of sebum cysts and other skin conditions including hot spots.  Combined with Nagayu spa minerals and followed by a gentle massage and where needed conditioning treatment for a small additional fee.  Includes drying time but no debating or styling 

Ozone Spa Treatment

Dermal Care - Skin & Coat

The perfect service for tight curly coats or working dogs.  
High velocity dryer used to remove dust and dirt down to the skin. Loosen and open the coat.
When a bath isn't needed, this service keeps your pets coat manageable between full grooms. 
*This service does not include de-matting, nail trims or other services.

Blow Out & Brush

when a little more time is required. includes bath, shampoo & condition, 	head & spine massage.  brush & dry.  (detangling or undercoat removal, greater than 10 mins., is additional.)  pawfect for a double or recovering coat.  also beneficial for dogs with yeast infections, sebum cysts or other skin irritation.  (use of the ozone spa or nagayu minerals would be suggested if this is the case at an add on)


Deluxe Bath

when a full styling session is not yet required.  perfect for medium to long coats.  includes bath, condition, pawdicure, ear clean, hygiene & face tidy no matting present.  no dermal treatments needed *This is not a Full Groom and therefore does not include body shaping or trimming.  Service charges vary depending on the condition, type and condition of the coat. 

Mini Groom - a little extra

Hand Stripping and Carding wire or wire X breed coats is essential for healthy coat and skin.  This technique maintains texture and colour of the coat.  Most Terriers, such as Cairn, Airedale, Jack Russell, Schnauzers and more benefit greatly from not being clipped.
Pet styling 8-10 weekly. Show coats/rolling every 3-5 days. 
a specialized service, correct for terrier breeds or mixes.  the healthy option for skin and coat care.  maintains vibrancy of color, texture & encourages new growth.  this service takes time and is labour intensive.
some pets only require a ‘full strip’ every 2-3 months, others require carding 	& rolling of the coat more frequently.  please discuss your pets needs before booking.  regularly hand stripped pets do not always require a bath, however pads & nails will be cared for.  
note: it is not always possible to strip a coat IF it has been previously clipped

Miscellaneous 

Grooming

A 30 minute consultation, where you, your pup or senior doggo get to meet your potential pet health team member. 
A time to allow your pet to check out the facilities and groomer.  
Ask questions, discuss lifestyle, health concerns, behavioural issues, share some history, discuss sensitisation, training and home maintenance. 
This service is free. 
All dogs are to be fully vaccinated (bring records), flea and worm treated. 
Dogs must remain on leash and allowed to sniff their way down to the salon in a relaxed and positive way.  
Please clean up after your pet, bags are available. 
Once inside, a F.A.S. (fear, anxiety and stress) assessment will be conducted, and a suitable management and handling plan will be discussed. 

For safety reasons, up parents are not permitted to remain in the salon during the groom, but are welcome to stay close at hand, watch virtually or enjoy the view or the beach just minutes away. 

Meet and Greet

Anal Gland Release

Gentle removal of ear hair when appropriate.  Cleaned with Epioptic medicated ear cleaner.  

Ear Pluck & Clean

Removal of matting where possible.  Mat removal greater than 20 minutes will be stopped, to minimise stress on your dog emotionally and physically is essential.  
Policy requires dogs be shaved under such circumstances. 
Release paperwork will need to be signed prior to this service. 
Some pets may need Vet intervention to complete the process. This happens under anaesthesia. 

De-Tangle

Prescribed, medicated shampoos can be left at the salon for use on your pup.  Salon supplied products are charged.  BYO no additional charge

Medicated Shampoo

Chateau de Chiens understands that in the case of family or health emergencies, you may not be able to access family or kennel care for you precious pup.  We are here to help in such circumstances for overnight care only.  Small dogs only, no Barker's please. House trained. Sociable. 

Emergency Sleep Over

The pain of loosing a loved companion is indescribable unless you have been there and I have.  Sometimes saying goodbye is just too much to bare.  Your pup should not be alone and I am here to ensure that doesn't happen.  Please call to discuss 'dowager' services for your bestie. I'm here for you and them.
