I had the pleasure of having a 1 hour deep tissue massage with Christie. Wow wow wow, it was much more than just a treat!! Christie is a master in this field, this is no ordinary massage. Many other tools were used, she’s highly intuitive and knows exactly where & what to push. I’m a massage critic as I’m highly sensitive & also very aware of every inch of my body, & Christie left my body feeling so much lighter & released years of trauma layering the body. My treatment was great! It was my first experience with cupping and gua sha massage and Christie was wonderful. She explained everything very well to me, so i was prepared for what I will be experiencing. I will definitely be returning again and again. I highly recommend Christie's Wellness Room. 

A firmer massage using deeper strokes to target the inner layers of muscle tissues & fascia. Trigger point therapy is used to release chronic contractions in the fascia causing musculoskeletal pain. This treatment is useful in breaking up scar tissue from injuries & postural problems, releasing waste from the fascia to increase range of motion & relieve chronic pain. Cupping Therapy & Gua Sha Therapy are incorporated if needed.

MLD is a gentle but powerfully effective technique to boost the functioning of the lymphatic system, cleanse the connective tissue of metabolic waste & toxins, reduce pain, lower the activity of the sympathetic nervous system & help enhance immune response, thereby facilitating the healing of injuries, chronic health conditions & inflammation. I use either the Aroma Lymphatic Tressage (ALT) technique, the Dr Vodder technique, or a combination of both depending on your needs.

+ Beneficial for lymphoedema, general inflammation, pre-op support, skin conditions, depleted immunity, chronic allergies or general wellbeing. Multiple treatments are recommended depending on health concerns.

A mini organic facial cleanse is followed by lymphatic drainage techniques on the head, face & decollete areas. Gua Sha, facial cupping & desired tools are used to encourage lymph drainage & boost circulation.

This treatment helps the skin appear brighter, reduces puffiness & eases troublesome skin conditions such as rosacea & acne. It aids in the drainage of toxins from botox usage as well as easing chronic sinusitis, congestion, sore throats, ear infections & sinus-related headaches.

Not only is this treatment deeply relaxing & healing, it also naturally tones the skin & facial muscles which acts as a natural 'face lift'.

An invigorating treatment to combat stubborn cellulite. This treatment is most effective on a regular basis with healthy lifestyle habits in order to see long-term results.

This treatment focuses on tightening the abdomen & thighs through vigorous massage techniques, encouraging fresh oxygenated blood to areas of cellulite & encouraging lymphatic drainage.

The routine involves dry exfoliation, invigorating massage techniques with a detoxifying essential oil blend & the use of various massage tools to target the deeper layers of adipose tissue.

Cellulite Treatment

Specialised massage techniques are used on the abdomen in order to drain excess fluid from around the abdomen & intestines. A potent blend of essential oils will assist with toxin elimination. Cupping therapy is incorporated to enhance circulation in the abdomen & further assist in the removal of toxins. This treatment may help stimulate liver function & bile flow, increase peristalsis, improve bowel mobility & enhance general intestinal organ function to aid in better elimination & digestion.

A soothing mini facial cleanse before your chosen massage.

Organic cleansing milk is used to cleanse the face of impurities, followed by a geranium hydrosol misting to prepare your skin. A soothing décolleté, neck & face massage is followed by Gua Sha & Jade rollers. A hot towel will finish off the cleanse to prepare you for your chosen massage.

This mini treatment brings fresh oxygenated blood flow to the face & promotes lymph drainage which increases radiance, reduces puffiness & tightens the face muscles.
