This ancient Chinese therapy involves the insertion of tiny, sterile needles into specific points on the body to stimulate and balance the flow of Qi. Patients might feel a mild sensation like a slight prick or a tingling feeling when the needles are inserted, but generally, the treatment is not considered painful.
