Masseter botox helps release any tension and relaxes the masseter muscle, it can also help with headaches which are caused by clenching and grinding. As it relaxes the muscle it can also cause a slimming effect which is also why the treatment can be known as jawline slimming.

Botox in this area won't stop you from clenching or grinding so I would advice to get a night bite guard from your dentist which will help protect your teeth
