This therapeutic form of massage helps manage pain and increase range of motion and is often used to treat sports injuries, scar tissue, pulled muscles and old injuries. This is a more directed and intense form of massage with a focus on assisting pain relief and injury recovery. Trigger points are used and more intense bodywork applied to reach deep muscle and fascial release. A massage that works to lengthen and relax deep tissue. 
The therapist will first warm up the muscles with light pressure, before massaging the target area with slow strokes and applying deep pressure with hands, arms or elbows, working to release contracted muscles and tissues. 
You may require repeat treatments to see improvements in areas of deep muscle tension or injury.


Deep Tissue Massage

In a Holistic Pulsing session, the clothed client lies on a therapy table. The therapist generates movement through the client’s body by applying a series of “rocking” or “pulsing” techniques. As the ripples spread through the fluids in the body, right down to cellular level, muscles and other tissues “let go.”
On a physical level, this letting go can lead to a state of deep relaxation, with results similar to meditation. As body processes like heart and breathing rate slow down, the brain and internal organs get a bath of oxygen-rich blood, and the Nervous System gets time-out. Wound and tissue repair are enhanced as circulation of blood and lymph are gently stimulated.


Holistic Pulsing - Body/Mind Therapy

Intuitive Bodywork uses a variety of body-centred modalities and techniques. Focussing on what is required for you on the day, drawing from massage therapies, breathwork, stretching, pressure points, sound, joint mobilization, energy work. All of which is energetically and intuitively guided during your session.
It is a time to allow your body to release energetic blocks and any stagnancy within, to allow energetic realignments. It is the integration of bodywork, with the intention of assisting your body to a state of wholeness and well-being.
This is a wonderful and powerful form of healing, combining the use of intuition, energy and bodywork to assist your body to begin its own healing on all levels. It can be very gentle or very active, depending on the body’s needs and it is deeply nourishing and allows for a complete reset of the nervous system.


Intuitive Bodywork

A special relaxing treat for our young people. The Sage Room offers a Calming Holistic Massage for Kids. (12 years and over)

As kids are often very active physically, socially and academically, it is important their bodies are recovering both physically and mentally through a variety of relaxation practices.

Teaching them to be aware of when they need some self care is essential when encouraging them to lead a balanced life.

Calming Holistic Massage for Kids

Your journey to The Sage Room will lead you to a one and a half hour energy healing session using predominately Elohim Healing. This method of healing involves the channeling of energy in a sequential order - where healing hands are placed above different parts of the body. The healing energy raises the vibrational frequencies of the client and flows through to where it is needed in the body, promoting a feeling of increased wellbeing, an improvement in energy levels and greater inner calm. This Elohim Energy Healing is beneficial for clearing and realigning all energy within and around you, leaving you feeling more in sync, balanced and grounded. 

Energy Healing

The Sage Room offers an Holistic Massage to nurture your overall wellbeing. If you find yourself holding tension, feeling stressed or anxious, experiencing muscle soreness, body pain, struggling with sleep, headaches, or seeking overall relaxation we encourage you to consider a massage treatment. This one hour treatment works predominantly on all structural muscles (the ones that help hold us upright). Working alongside the client's requirements of the day, a beautiful deeply relaxing massage is given, to encourage circulation, encourage calm, boost wellbeing and leave you feeling so much better within.
