Removal of SNS Acrylic Nails

Gel nails - sometimes called Shellac nails - are known for their durability. They are thicker in texture than regular nail polish and lasts up to 3 - 4 weeks without chipping. The gel is a substance that comes from the acrylic family. Its applied to the nail similarly to regular nail polish and then dried under a LED light. When exposed to the light, short chains of molecules partner with longer ones within the gel, creating products called polymers. This causes the gel to harden. Shellac nails have a bad rap for weakening the nail underneath, but its reported, however, that the only reason gel nails weaken the nail bed is because of the way they are removed. You can't just pull them off if you do you will also rip the top layer off your natural nail. To be safe, only get your gel nails removed at a salon.

It is important to know that the Gelaze gel polish cannot be removed with normal nail polish remover, an acetone removal treatment is required. If you try to pick this gel polish off you run the risk of damaging your natural nail underneath. This could result in overly thin, sensitive and  weak nails that grow at a slower rate. Our treatment is quick and painless, let us do the removal properly so no damage is done!

Eyelash extensions are attached to the natural lash with a semi-permanent medical grade glue. If damage is done the lash could grow back at a much slower rate and could grow back much weaker with some deformation. This is due to pulling the natural lash out from the root. An extremely painful and unpleasant experience! Let us do it safely for you!
