A full body massage will typically include the back, legs, arms, head and shoulders. However, you can still discuss with the therapist to focus more on the parts that you fell more sore.

Remedial Massage utilises a variety of techniques to help with neck and shoulder pain. After a thorough assessment we create a plan of attack specific to you. In general we massage deep into muscles of your neck, shoulders and the front and back of your upper spine that we have identified at tight. We also use a variety of additional techniques to tailor your massage to your needs.

A head massage is a deep style massage that focuses on the head, neck and shoulders. A head massage applies a range of techniques to help reduce stress and release tension in the upper body. Massaging the scalp can help stimulate nerves and blood vessels around the area and begin to calm muscle tension around the head. A head massage can be both relaxing and an invigorating experience.

An arm massage focuses mainly on the muscles that make up the upper and lower regions of the arm. There are a range of different muscles that make up the arm. Muscles that make up the arm include; biceps, triceps, brachialis, brachioradialis, coracobrachialis and the extensor carpi radialis brevis. An arm massage aims to decrease tension and pain using a variety of different techniques. In this service, the pain on the neck and shoulders related  to the arms will be released as well.

Remedial massage therapists use a number of manual techniques such a deep and soft tissue massage, stretching, kneading, friction, trigger point therapy, and cupping to improve muscle tone and release pressure from the nerves, thereby easing back pain and improve posture and flexibility.

Lower Back 

A shoulder & back massage focuses on the muscles located around the shoulder and back region. The muscles of the shoulder region consist of the upper trapezius, rhomboids and rotator cuff muscles. It involves many different techniques that help reduce tightness and pain. Also, it helps increase the temperature of the muscles by increasing blood flow. Increased temperature in the muscles results in relaxation and decreased pain.
