  Remedial massage therapy is targeted specific treatment for musculoskeletal dysfunction.
It improves your body's range of movement, and is both a treatment and prevention for muscle, tendon and joint pain or injury.
Remedial massage can stimulate the blood supply, make joints more mobile, and help to repair damaged tissues. The therapist will aim to balance the length, tone and tension of muscles and tendons, which restores the correct position of the bones, increases blood flow and helps heal injuries.
It is perfect for treating and managing sports injuries, headaches, increased mobility, posture correction, arthritis, back & neck pain, depression & anxiety, and much more!


Remedial 

A comfortable and safe relaxation massage to ease lower back ache, tense shoulders and tired legs. We use the sideline method of massage using full body support pillows for your comfort.
Massage while you are pregnant benefits both you and your baby. Ask your doctor for a verbal recommendation to allow you to have a massage with a Pregnancy Trained Therapist at The Healing Cottage.

Our Relaxation/ Deep Tissue massage therapy involves a calming blend of long flowing and flushing strokes to relax and prepare the tissue for the muscles that need some more intensive and deeper releasing. Different methods of deep release bodywork may include Trigger point therapy/ Fibre frictions/ Stretches/ joint mobility/ Myofascial therapy!
