ike a deep tissue massage on steroids, a sports massage is ideal for anyone struggling with pain or discomfort in a specific area. Usually Whilst sports massage is the ideal remedy for athletically-induced aches, it’s also brilliant as a preventative treatment for the active to keep injury at bay.

With an emphasis on increasing circulation and minimising inflammation, the massage can be slightly uncomfortable at times, - be vocal and let your masseuse know if it feels uncomfortable or too much pain
The massage will also lower your blood pressure and heart rate, whilst boosting your lymphatic drainage system and helping to improve flexibility, making it ideal as a performance aid for seriously sporty types.

It’s a treatment probably best avoided if you have any open wounds, varicose veins, thrombosis, tumours, melanoma or haemophilia due to the nature of the massage, and it’s not suitable for anyone with infectious skin diseases.

For localized treatments, such as massages, topical CBD products are the ideal options for pain relief and anxiety . Oils such as almond oil and coconut oil, are ineffective at penetrating the outer layers of the skin. But, when mixed with CBD, these can make their way into the deeper tissues and provide greater relief. This why CBD-infused massages are so effective.
CBD, by tapping into the human endocannabinoid system, has also been linked to a whole host of physiological functions.

The massage is a slow flowing massage at a light to medium pressure only . This treatment is administered by a senior Holistic therapist . If you wish to discuss if CBD is suitable for you please do email us at natural-light@outlook.com
