Relaxation

A comfortable and safe relaxation massage to ease lower back ache, tense shoulders and tired legs. We use the sideline method of massage using full body support pillows for your comfort.
Massage while you are pregnant benefits both you and your baby. Ask your doctor for a verbal recommendation to allow you to have a massage with a Pregnancy Trained Therapist at The Healing Cottage.
* We recommend pregnancy massage after your 1st trimester – recommended for 12 – 40 weeks*

Pregnancy Massage

Lymphatic Drainage massage is a slow, relaxing and gentle flow massage, which moves and eliminates waste and toxins from the body through the lymph nodes (part of the immune system).

Our Relaxation/ Deep Tissue massage therapy involves a calming blend of long flowing and flushing strokes to relax and prepare the tissue for the muscles that need some more intensive and deeper releasing. Different methods of deep release bodywork may include Trigger point therapy/ Fibre frictions/ Stretches/ joint mobility/ Myofascial therapy!
