A Daith piercing passes through the innermost fold of cartilage just above the ear canal, creating a unique look that's tucked neatly into the centre of the ear. It's a distinctive piercing that works beautifully on its own or as part of a curated ear, adding depth and character without being overly bold.

The Daith piercing was first developed and named in the early 1990s by pioneering piercer Erik Dakota at his studio in Los Angeles. The name "Daith" comes from the Hebrew word "da'at", meaning knowledge or wisdom. According to Dakota, the name was suggested by a client who felt the piercing's placement represented a passage to greater understanding.

Today, the Daith has become one of the most recognisable cartilage piercings thanks to its unique placement and elegant appearance. It's most commonly fitted with a captive bead ring or hinged clicker and requires suitable anatomy, as not everyone has a pronounced enough cartilage fold to support the piercing safely.

Our Nose piercings are incredibly popular and is the piercing of the skin or cartilage which forms any part of the nose!

We can’t pierce your nose with a ring initially, as it won’t heal properly. 
We need to pierce it with a flat back Labret stud, and from a minimum of 8 weeks after, you can pop back to us and have a hoop fitted.
