Reflexology - Course of 4 Sessions

From the early stages of morning sickness to delivery discomfort, pregnancy can be physically demanding.  Reflexology is a gentle, holistic treatment, which is ideal to help maintain balance and harmony during the changes of pregnancy.  It is my opinion that many of the minor ailments of pregnancy are thought to respond well to reflexology therapy, such as:

digestive disorders
circulation problems
aches, pain & discomfort
bowel problems
sleep issues
carpal tunnel syndrome
blood pressure fluctuations
stress & anxiety
Many of my pregnant clients believe that reflexology helped ease the above symptoms and complaints.

I also believe it can specifically help women who are overdue, by potentially reducing stress hormones, which in turn allows labour to commence.

Stress and stimulants are enemies to the menopause and can make a variety of symptoms worse.  This is where reflexology can help you through this, sometimes difficult, phase and potentially ease symptoms and improve wellbeing.

Reflexology helps support women through every stage of life and seems to be especially beneficial during peri-menopause and menopause.  This could be because menopausal symptoms are made worse by stress and high levels or cortisol.

Assisted Conception is any method of conceiving other than by sexual intercourse.  There are several types of assisted conception, with In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) probably being the best known.  The IVF programme creates a change in the woman’s physical environment to enable the production of several ova.  It can be physically and emotionally exhausting, and very expensive.  I believe the calming, balancing qualities of reflexology help enormously to compliment these medical procedures.
