Hello! I'm Holley, a qualified nail technician focusing on builder gel manicures, soft gel extensions and nail art.

​​Clawed Nail Studio is located in its own unit at my home in Pukekohe. It's a place to relax and be treated to beautiful nails while listening to music or watching a movie, and having a chat (or silent appointment if you prefer).

A bit more time and effort: 3x3 or more checkerboard, detailed smileys, multi-coloured or fancy flames, words, marbling, ombre, chrome detailing, tortoiseshell, simple characters, fancy French, mix and match

Level Three Nail Art (per nail)

Simple but a bit funkier: multi-colour swirls, simple flowers, hearts, basic one-colour flames, simple stars, abstract lines, animal print, 2x2 checkerboard, basic smileys, modified French (ie. deeper lines on long nails, dual colour, angled etc.)


Level Two Nail Art (per nail)

Very basic nail art: polka dots, one star or heart per nail, glitter, full chrome nails,  one colour swirl, basic French tips.

Level One Nail Art (per nail)

Previous extensions are filed and soaked off, nails are prepped and a new set of extensions are applied.​

Perfect for those who don't want a colour but would like a tidy-up and some extra care. Includes cuticle work, buff, shape and cuticle oil. A free top coat or thin builder gel ($10) can be added.

Gel Polish

Builder gel or BIAB (Builder in a bottle) is a thick gel that can be used to add additional strength to the nail. It enhances the ability to grow strong, long natural nails. It does not add length. It's recommended for weak or brittle nails, nail biters, or clients who struggle to grow their nails.

All of the builder gel manicures I do are structured. This means the product is sculpted and shaped with a thicker apex curve to give a lot more added strength.

Builder Gel New Set - Short

Builder Gel New Set - Long

Nails that are more grown out than recommended generally take more work and product to infill, due to the need to rebalance the apex of the structured builder gel and extra prep/reshaping.

Extra Fee - Longer than Four Weeks Infill 

Previous polish is filed off and any lifting is removed, builder gel is infilled back up to the cuticle and new polish applied.

This service is for clients who love nail art and are flexible but want something a little more laidback than the regular mystery mani. This could include anything from simple isolated chrome, a few feature nails, dainty detailing here and there or more simple art on less fingers.

For when you don't know what you want and don't care what you get! This service is for clients who love nail art and are flexible and open-minded about it. 

You can: go all in and commit to whatever surprise you end up with; decide that yes, you want it - but in a different colour scheme; or pay me a $1 tip to "reroll" and choose something else.
