Sports massage does not have to be for just your sportsmen/women it is also about prevention of an injury or old injury, it uses deeper pressure a bit similar to Deep tissue .

Bamboo massage therapy is essentially the same as deep tissue massage or Swedish massage. However, rather than the therapist simply using their hands to warm the muscles and reduce pain in the ligaments and joints, the therapist uses a roll of heated bamboo.

The heated bamboo is kneaded into the tissue just as the therapist would use their fingers. Yet the bamboo allows the therapist to knead deeper and firmer than they would be able to with only their hands. The length and width of the bamboo used can change depending on the detail necessary for accurate gliding strokes.

Lomi Lomi is a traditional Hawaiian massage that uses a combination of massage techniques, nut oils (Macadamia, palm and coconut) , and elements of breathing to restore energy and soothe the body. 

Lomi Lomi helps to explain its principles - the massage works gently yet deeply into the muscles with continuous, flowing strokes, allowing the recipient to relax and give in to the nurturing touch.

Lomi lomi works from the belief that memories are not just stored in the brain and mind, but also in every cell of the human body. The long, continuous strokes of the massage are designed to help the body let go of its old patterns and behaviours, which can cause as many stresses and strains as muscle tension.

Swedish massage

Stones made from volcanic rock from the earth service where Lava flows. called Basalt and this rocks are what is used in a Hot stone treatment. The rocks keep the heat for a lot longer. The stones are generally heated in a Special heater to around 100 and 130 degrees. But the stone will be cooled when placing them on the body.

During a treatment these are incorporated into a massage it can be by placing the stones onto the body in chakra line, it can be a great start to a massage as it helps break down the knots of the body, It helps relax the muscles prior to and after a treatment, Stimulates circulation. It is a nice treatment on a cold winters day. Very relaxing treatment.

Hot Stones Massage

Having a reflexology treatment covers both the hands and feet governs the meridian lines and covers all aspects from the organs to any other part of the body. It is a simple way in treating most common Ailments. The massage will consist of having your feet exfoliated, massage, and pressure points to stimulate the organs. The hands and feet our treated to help prevent illness. Thumb and finger pressure is used  to stimulate reflexology points that governs the rest of our body’s functioning and the internal organs.

It is important for the circulation system and the immune systems. With its clever process it stops harmful fluid from sitting on the tissues. So it does rely on us to eat the right things and have correct nutrients in the body and to exercise. Because it does not have its own pump like the heart that pumps blood around the body you have to keep active in order for the system to work and this is where lymphatic drainage massage can help too. So in a nutshell it is about fluid retention. Yoga can also help with the lymphatic’s and drinking lots of fluids.

Patch Test

A patch test will be done on your inner / or back of the ear, to check that the dye doesn’t cause a rash or inflammation. 
Specialist hair dye is used which is semi-permanent and suitable for these sensitive areas. Cotton pads are placed on your eyelids and Vaseline applied to the area around your brows to prevent staining.
Tinting takes around 15 to 20 minutes. You can choose a colour which compliments or contrasts with your hair and eye colour and skin tone. Black, brown and blue are the most popular and come in a variety of shades. Black is classic, brown is the most natural and can always be enhanced for a special occasion with mascara. 

Eyelash Tint

Manicure and Pedicure

Your feet will feel so refreshed after this treatment. 
Your feet will be soaked for 10 mins using an organic green tea and ginger sugar scrub to remove dead skin. They will then be filed using a pedicure foot file. A delightful massage will be given to the feet and up to the knees.

The nails will be cut back and filed and shaped and cuticles will be removed. The pedicure will be finished a nail polish of your choice.

Spoil yourself with a luxurious hand and arm massage that will include filing the nails, making them neat and tidy. We will also remove cuticles that surrounds the nails. Cuticle oil to soften the cuticles. We will then file and shape and finish with the nail polish of your choice.
