This service is a Demi-permanent toner that will help refresh previously lightened hair. A gloss can change the tone of the existing lighter sections of hair, it CANNOT lighten your hair. 

It is good to tone down colours that are feeling too warm or to add more warmth to the hair.

Have you had a lived-in colour technique in the last few months and your hair has changed tone from what you originally had done? A gloss can help restore tone and shine but it cannot lighten or add dimension on its own.
