How often should I be injected?

Our acne treatments are various and numerous, as there are many therapies and products available to help control this unwanted condition.
It all starts with a thorough consultation, medical history and review of your skin care routine.
We will then give you the options available to plan your treatment.
The good news is that in the majority of cases, the advice given and some simple behavioural/product changes are all that are necessary.
In the event of needing prescription medication such as anti-biotics, you may be subject to further charges.

This is a rehydrating and rejuvenating injection treatment, comprising of two sessions one month apart, for skin laxity/crepey skin on areas of the body such as arms, knees, tummies, elbows and inner thighs.

Don’t suffer with embarrassing sweat patches any longer! We see this issue frequently and treatment is generally extremely successful.
Whether you are sick of staining your clothes, or just feel that you would be happier with less sweat, this treatment is for you.
This procedure involves tiny injections of botulinum toxin type A (known as 'Botox') being placed with fine needles just superficially under the skin. Anaesthetic cream is offered prior to treatment, so you can be entirely comfortable throughout.

We will take your medical history, consult you and answer any questions you may have.

Treatments last individuals differing amounts of time, however most people have this once or twice yearly.


No Sweating into Clothes

We offer both the Felc plasma device and CryoPen, cryotherapy.
Both systems can be utilised to remove or improve unsightly or uncomfortable skin tags or other irregularities.

The Felc plasma device creates a small electrical arc, similar to a tiny lightning bolt, to treat skin tags, lesions, moles etc  without spreading unwanted heat to surrounding areas. It is a "hot" treatment and requires local or topical anaesthetic prior to use.

In comparison The CryoPen uses liquid nitrogen to freeze an area such as a wart or verruca. It is very precise, however multiple treatments may be necessary or used with adjunctive therapies.
This is a "cold" treatment and does not generally require any anaesthetic.

You will be given a costing prior to treatment on an individual basis.

This is a slow acting steroid shot for the relief of allergic rhinitis and hayfever. You will be assessed and treated using a licensed and clinically proven treatment.

Hayfever is inflammation of the facial tissues, such as your nasal passages and eyelids, as a reaction to pollen (an allergen). You may also suffer from other allergies such as pet hair or dust. The shot is also useful in these circumstances.
 
There are possible (rare) side-effects which are fully discussed at consultation. 
Most people would achieve seasonal relief of their hayfever, but occasionally you may need a further shot (which is fully charged) to sustain relief.

This is dependent on which allergies you suffer including tree pollens, weeds, mold, fungus and spores. The more allergies you have, the longer generally your symptoms will be spread throughout the year.
