Deep tissue massage is a type of massage that relieves restrictions, tensions and pain in the deep layers of muscle and fascial connective tissue. Similar strokes as Swedish massage is used but movement is slower, and the pressure is deeper and concentrated on areas of tension and pain.
Fingertips, knuckles, elbows, or forearms are used to help achieve good treatment results.
It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff necks, low back tightness, and sore shoulders.


Deep Tissue Massage

A combination of various movements which involves soft, long, kneading, rolling and wringing strokes, light to medium pressure on top layers of muscles and flowing movements over the body. A good starter massage treatment to get you going which is relaxing and energising for your body and mind.

A very gentle relaxing massage to improve sleep quality, reduce anxiety and depression, and help with pain relief and the nausea often experienced by cancer patients.

Oncology Massage 

The overwhelming feeling of sadness with a loss comes in various forms.  Whether you’ve ended employment/retired, wanted an opportunity, moved to a new city, or experienced the end of a relationship or death of a family member or friend.  Experiencing an unanticipated traumatic loss of a loved one is very difficult.  It floods you with emotions and memories that are difficult to cope with. Grief massage can help you to cope mentally and physically with the pain of your bereavement.
The session consists of 40 minutes of talk and 50 mins of massage therapy.
