Highlights and lowlights are lighter and/or darker strands of hair that are added to your base colour. They create contrast and dimension. You can create a subtle or bold look depending on your desired result. 

Face frame - front hairline only
T section - front hairline and parting only
Half head - top half of the hair

Highlights

A toner is used to eliminate unwanted undertones from lightening and help to achieve and maintain your desired colour.

Toner - all over toner
Root tap - ideal for those who want soft grow-out but keeping the hair as bright as possible, a small amount of your natural root colour is applied close to your scalp
Root melt/smudge - similar to root tap, a root melt or root smudge drags your root colour further down into your highlighted hair, creating depth and dimension

Toning

Tinting is where hair colour is applied directly to the scalp to create an all over colour.

Hairline & parting regrowth - applied just to the roots on hairline and parting (existing clients only within 6 weeks of previous colour appointment)
Regrowth permanent colour - applied just to the roots on the entire head
Full head permanent colour - applied to the roots and ends
Glossing - full head (roots & ends) semi permanent colour

Balayage & Foilyage

Scalp Bleaching is a hair-lightening method that is used to achieve a very light all over colour. As the name suggests, scalp bleaching involves a bleach application on the roots and lengths of the hair and is a useful technique for clients looking for an all-over platinum blonde look. The toner is used at the basin to achieve the desired shade of blonde.
