You should also avoid heavy exercise and heavy alcohol consumption for 24 hours before your treatment. On the day of your treatment, you should arrive makeup free. 
 After your PRP treatment, you should: 
 
Avoid touching the area for at least six hours, ideally 12 hours 
 
Avoid wash products like cleansers and shampoos for 48 hours 
 
Avoid exposure to UV, extreme heat, and extreme cold 
 
Sleep with your head elevated on your back for the next 2 days
