What is Patch Testing? 
Patch testing is a method I use to determine if you have any allergies to substances that may come into contact with your skin. I apply patches containing potential allergens to your forearm or behind your ear. The patches are worn for 48 hours before being removed to assess any reactions.
Why is Patch Testing Done? 
The purpose of patch testing is to identify any allergens and prevent allergic reactions during your treatment, ensuring a safe and pleasant experience.
Possible reactions to patch testing, which can include:
Redness
Swelling
Itching 
Blisters
These symptoms are typically mild and localized to the area of the patch test.
Although patch testing is a good indicator of skin sensitivity, it is not infallible. Reactions can differ on various parts of the body, so there is a small chance of an allergic reaction during or after the treatment, even if the patch test results are negative.
