Full body massage
Massage has been proven to reduce stress; anxiety, pain, muscle soreness, tension and fatigue. It also improves relaxation; circulation, energy, alertness, flexibility, joint inflammation, immune function and sleep quality. As well as lowering the heart rate and blood pressure. A sluggish lymphatic system can be greatly improved with massage. The movement of lymph is dependent on muscle contractions and good circulation. An accumulation of proteins; fats, wastes and blockages that don't get excreted from the body can often result in cellulite. Massage can help to move and flush out these toxins. Deep tissue massage involves deep pressure, sustained slow strokes and stretches to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues. 
It can help to break down muscle adhesions (knots) tension, tightness and spasms in the muscle fibres. 
 It is normal to feel some soreness after a deep tissue massage, (particularly if it is your first one). As it will probably involve pressure on muscles that aren’t often manipulated in such a way. However, you shouldn’t experience any pain during the massage. The pressure can be adjusted at your request. 
It is advisable to wear loose clothing to your appointment as it will be more comfortable after your treatment.

HOT STONE MASSAGE
This massage incorporates Swedish massage techniques with hot basalt stones. The heat of the stones makes the massage more invigorating, extremely comforting and relaxing. The heat penetrates through the body bringing many of the usual benefits of massage, but at a deeper level as the heat makes muscles more pliable. Heat is a natural pain reliever and is extremely effective at releasing tension; improving circulation and flexibility, perfect for tired sore muscles, aches and pains.

Autumn special- Indian head massage & foot massage or back massage & foot massage

This massage is suitable for symptoms of perimenopause, menopause and post menopause. It is a combination of Swedish massage techniques, aromatherapy, acupressure and acupressure plasters to use between treatments. 
After completion of a consultation form to determine your symptoms, the massage will be tailored to your individual needs. Using essential oils and acupressure that are specific to your symptoms.
 Acupressure is pressure applied to specific points on the body. It can release muscular tension, balance hormones and irregular periods. Improve mood and help to relieve insomnia, anxiety, hot flushes, pain, headaches and fatigue. 
Some essential oils contain phytoestrogens which behave in a similar way to oestrogen. They too can help with the symptoms of menopause. As well as  relieve anxiety, insomnia, regulate mood and promote relaxation.

Baby massage has many benefits, both for baby and you. It can be a special time for you and your baby to be focused and in the moment and can be easily incorporated into your daily routine. It can be especially beneficial as part of baby’s bedtime routine and can aid sleep. The power of touch/massage will support and strengthen your bond, stimulate the happy, feel good hormones for you both and improve circulation and flexibility. In addition to a full body baby massage routine, you will also learn techniques to help relieve the pain of teething, constipation, colic and trapped wind. 
The massage routine is broken down into 5 parts and will be taught step by step until you are perfectly happy with performing the routine independently. It can be taught for 30 mins per sequence. Or shorter/ longer sessions can also be an option.
