Manual Lymph Drainage 90' (MLD) Vodder Method 

At your first consultation we will discuss your case history, including as much information as possible regarding your pathology, your lifestyle, your medication, any other illnesses or injuries you might have. We'll also cover how you have been managing your lymphoedema to date, what compression / bandaging you have been wearing and we'll answer any questions you might have on this and your diagnosis. A clinical referral is not necessary for this service, however it is very helpful. We aim to work closely with your oncology team to ensure best outcomes.
From there we shall make a plan for your treatment which may encompass any or all of the following: Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), Decongestive Lymphatic Therapy (DLT - this covers bandaging, exercise, psychosocial support and guidance, skincare advice and discussion of your individual condition), plus body composition measurements. 
Measurements for compression garments are taken at a separate session.

Initial Lymphoedema Consultation

Pre and post surgical MLD recommended to prepare the body optimally for surgery, and to ease pain, reduce lymphatic buildup and speed recovery post procedure, as recommended by consultants. ***Please book this through the Memberships tab.***

If you suffer from blocked sinuses, headaches, migraines, nasal stuffiness, recurrent infections, unrefreshing & disturbed  sleep patterns, fatigue,  and 'woolly headedness' this could be your answer. Utilizing skills developed through reflexology, lymphatic drainage and Swedish massage techniques, this unique, gentle treatment and aftercare advice will help clear blocked sinuses, relieve tension in the head and work to restore normal, easy breath flow. Suitable for children also.

This treatment focuses primarily on the abdomen, where we hold a great deal of our stress, resulting in IBS, tension, and headaches. Working directly on the digestive tract, we stimulate the circulation of lymphatic fluid, blood and waste matter, bringing the body's core back to homeostasis, detoxifying and reinvigorating a sluggish or inflamed digestive system. Warmth is applied after the physical stimulation, relaxing and soothing the area, bringing it back to balance energetically and emotionally. The lymphatic and acupressure points on the head, neck and face are then treated to enhance wellbeing and rebalance the entire nervous system.
