Established for almost 3 decades practicing and teaching holistic therapies and Yoga and over 20 years of service at the Health & Wellness Centre in the New Forest. During the treatment, you’ll sit comfortably upright. While fully clothed is fine, a vest top or clothing that allows access to the upper back and shoulders is ideal. The massage focuses on the upper back, shoulders, neck, scalp, ears, and face, using gentle, rhythmic movements.

It also targets marma points—vital energy centers in Ayurveda—to release blocked energy and boost vitality.

During the treatment you remain fully clothes and no oil is used.

Back Facials begin with a deep cleanse to remove any dead skin cells providing a blank canvas to exfoliate with an antibacterial exfoliate and remove any congestion. After which a clay based detoxifying and purifying mask is applied, the mask is on for 15 mins during which you will receive a massage to the back of the legs and feet using a massage wax to hydrate and invigorate. The mask is removed using hot towels followed by a back neck and shoulder massage to release any muscle tension, using a massage wax to hydrate.

A beautiful cozy treatment room in Lyndhurst New Forest, A hot stone massage involves flat basalt stones being immersed in hot water and then placed onto specific parts of the body. During a hot stone massage, the stones are used to massage the body this allows the therapist to get deeper into the muscles without more pressure, helping their client to relax yet further.

The stones are smooth and flat and usually made of the volcanic rock type called basalt. These particular stones are chosen because they retain heat.
