Different peels can reach different depths of the skin, the result of which can impact the downtime. The deeper the depth, the more sensitised the skin is and longer it takes to heal and see results. Chemical Peels penetrate the epidermis and dermis layers of the skin which is why they are more effective after a Dermaplaning treatment or Microdermabrasion.
This treatment takes around 20-30 minutes and consists of a skin cleanse before applying the peel. Different peels take different amounts of time to process.
