During a lash lift, your natural lashes are carefully curled upwards using a special solution, creating a lifted and more open-eyed look. This process can make your lashes appear longer and more prominent without the need for eyelash extensions.

The procedure typically involves these steps:

	1.	Your technician will clean your lashes to ensure they are free from oils and makeup.
	2.	A silicone or similar curved device is placed on your eyelids, onto which your lashes are meticulously adhered with a gentle adhesive.
	3.	A lifting solution is applied to your lashes, allowing them to take on the desired shape.
	4.	A setting solution is then used to lock the lashes in their lifted position.
	5.	Lastly, your lashes and brows will  be tinted and shaped to enhance their color and overall appearance.

Before your Wax….
So you’ve booked a wax. Here’s a couple of tips to lessen the pain (and increase the longevity of the hair free feeling).
If you’re really worried about the pain, and haven’t had waxing before then take 1 or 2 paracetamol about 30-40 minutes before your appointment. This can help reduce the surface discomfort.

Make sure your hair is long enough to remove completely from the roots – it should be at least 0.5 centimetres. If you’ve shaved the area within the last few weeks it might take a couple of waxes to get your hair into a cycle of growth that allows the most effective wax finish.
