This is the most traditional and popular type of massage! Swedish massage uses a variety of stroking, kneading, pressure and flowing movements over the body to treat and prevent a huge variety of complaints or can simply be used for deep relaxation. Although not as deep as a deep tissue massage, the pressure varies from light to strong.
Swedish massage can be effective in the treatment of muscle aches and pains, headaches and migraines, depression, poor circulation, low immune system, digestive disorders, anxiety and stress and insomnia but is no way limited to this list!
Unscented grapeseed oil is used, but you can upgrade to the use of plant - based aromatic Aromawax massage candles.

SWEDISH MASSAGE

It's a type of massage that focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles. It is used for aches and pain and contracted areas such as a stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness and sore shoulders. Some of the strokes are the same as those used in classic massage, but the pressure is deeper and concentrated on areas of tension and pain in order to reach the sub-layer of muscles and the fascia. When muscles have been overworked, through stress or exercise, waste products such as lactic acid can accumulate in the muscles, causing soreness, stiffness and even muscle spasms. Massage can alleviate these conditions through boosting the circulatory and immune system which benefits blood pressure, circulation and muscle tone, thereby leaving the client feeling refreshed.
Kinesiotape, muscle ease gel and/or massage gun may be used to enhance the benefit of this massage treatment.

Holistic means ''whole''. So this form of massage deals with you as a ''whole''. The aim is to rebalance the body so it achieves balance. Holistic massage encourages the mind to slow down whilst the energy is increased. This treatment also lifts the spirit on an emotional level. Holistic massage is a relaxing treatment using different techniques from Swedish, lymphatic and Acupressure/Shiatsu massage. For this massage I use rose geranium oil blend, which itself has many good properties - it boosts self - esteem and confidence, helps to fight depression, relieves spasms, promotes circulation, boosts immune system, tones skin and helps with fading stretch marks and scars, etc., just to mention a few.

HOLISTIC MASSAGE

A light massage with pre-blended massage oils and aromatic body serums to treat the body and senses.
Treatment starts with a foot cleanse with hot towels, followed by an application of an aromatic serum on the soles of your feet. Then a half- / full-body massage is carried out.
It's best not to wipe the oils off straight after your massage is finished, so it would be best to wear some loose fitting old clothes after this treatment. But if you choose to do so, you will be given hot towels for it.

AROMATHERAPY MASSAGE

Abhyanga is a massage that’s done with warm oil. It’s the most popular massage in Ayurveda. Ayurveda focuses on maintaining health through natural practices like massage and what you eat. The oil is the central component of this practice. When combined with massage strokes, it’s thought to promote overall health and wellness.
The technique of the massage is quite different to the usual Swedish massage. The therapist combines the special techniques with special herbal oils that have been warmed up to achieve the benefits. It's a light massage, the technique largely focuses on the manipulation of the skin, so you should not expect the therapist to apply a deep pressure to break down the ‘knots’. The treatment covers the whole body from the scalp to toes so prepare to get oily all over. 
1st session is 75min as it includes a Dosha questionnaire to determine which oils need to be used for you.
NB! Please wear an old bikini / underwear to this treatment.

ABHYANGA MASSAGE

It's one of the most relaxing massages you can have! Hot Stone Massage is a very light massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated stones either as an extension of their hands or by placing them on the body while they massage other parts of the body. The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help warm up tight muscles. I use rose geranium oil for this massage. It includes a hand massage followed by a massage with the stones.

HOT STONE MASSAGE

I offer cold dry Cupping Massage with Stationary Cupping where necessary. Cupping Massage is the combination of massage movements and negative pressure with the use of a suction cup on the skin. A cup is positioned at the area to be treated and vacuum is created within the cup to draw the skin and underlying tissue into the cup. Suction cups rapidly facilitate rigid soft tissue release, loosens and lifts connective tissue, breaks up and drains stagnation while increasing blood and lymph flow to the skin and muscles in ways not possible using compression. The intended suction can range from light to heavy.
NB! Cupping massage can leave temporary bruise-like marks on the skin which usually disappear within a week.

CUPPING MASSAGE

IHM is a traditional Indian technique of treating the upper back, neck, shoulders, upper arms, scalp and ears by stimulating certain acupressure points in these areas. Because the treatment is non - invasive, with the recipient remaining clothed and seated during the session, it can be taken anywhere. IHM works on both, a physical and psychological level. By massaging the head and shoulders, energies will become rebalanced and a general relaxation will be achieved. IHM can improve blood flow to the head and neck, which increases the distribution of nutrients to encourage healing throughout the body.
The main benefit of IHM is the relaxation, but it can also help:
* to relieve eyestrain and headaches;
* to improve concentration;
* to relieve stress, muscular tension and insomnia;
* to relieve physical and mental fatigue;
* can help with hair growth.

INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE

MASSAGE THERAPY

A backcial is a facial on your back. Deeply cleansing and relaxing treatment on the most difficult to reach areas of the body.
Treatment starts with a dry brushing to boost the circulation and loosen the dead skin cells. It is followed by a purifying cleanser. After which an exfoliating mousse containing poppy seeds & black pine is applied. Then warming and pore opening steam is used. While the steam works on your tight muscles a head massage is helping you to relax even further. Once that's done, a marine mud masque is applied and arm & hand massage is performed. After the masque is removed a rich creamy moisturiser is applied to complete the treatment.
All products after each stage are removed with steaming hot towels.

BACKCIAL

Each area is dry brushed followed by a full-body exfoliation using finely ground sea salt & seaweed scrub infused with essential oils to soothe the senses while the dull, dry skin cells are buffed away. The scrub and dead skin cells are cleaned off with hot towels. Rich creamy skin drenching moisturiser concludes the treatment leaving skin feeling soft, smooth and hydrated.
