I visited Wellness at the Willow for a full body pregnancy massage at 37 weeks and I honestly could not be happier! Lucie took the time at the beginning of the appointment to ask questions to better tailor the massage to my needs and the atmosphere was as relaxing as always. Thai foot massage works on a similar principle to reflexology. However reflexology is just performed on the feet and Thai foot massage incorporates the lower leg as well as the feet. It involves a combination of hands on massage and the use of a thai massage stick to open up 'Sen' energy lines, stimulate internal organs encouraging the mind and body to balance as well as increasing blood circulation and lymphatic flow activating the bodys natural healing process by boosting the immune system. This treatment is also great for stress relief as it promotes relaxation and can also help with poor sleep and headaches.
