Reiki is a beautiful energy healing technique  that promotes many benefits including; relaxation, reducing stress and anxiety, pain relief, reducing fatigue and brain fog to name but a few.

Reiki is a non invasive practice in which the client lays comfortably on a treatment bed, fully clothed and covered with a blanket. Practitioners are able to channel  energy to the clients body for healing via their hands with gentle touch, hands off and even long distance (not in the same room/ building/ town or country) if desired. The clients body takes what energy it needs and to where it is needed within the body. The energy can improve balance of mind, body and spirit.

No two Reiki sessions will be the same and everyone’s experience of Reiki can be different; some people feel an energy flow, waves,  tingles or a feeling of deep relaxation, sometimes seeing colours and shapes. We are all different and so is each session.

If you are suffering with pain or lack of range of movement in a particular area and need muscle tension release, then a sports massage would be the perfect treatment for you. Firm pressure and trigger point release techniques are applied to release tension and reduce pain in main areas of concern.

Pregnancy Massage 

I love to problem solve, and when you come to me with an ache here or you’ve developed a problem, I try to work out what has caused that problem and treat accordingly. 

What I do is not solely massage, it’s soft tissue therapy. It’s a level 5 qualification which integrates movement and massage. I get you involved to move your body during the treatment so that you can become aware of your own body. Once you’re aware of a movement that you are doing which causes problems, you are more likely to change your biomechanics.

I also aim to encourage the nervous system to calm. We live in such an overstimulated world where it is difficult to switch off. Our bodies are not meant to be under such stress and constant stimulation. I want to activate your parasympathetic nervous which allows you to rest.
