Back Neck Massage

The Thai traditional massage goes back thousands of years according to ancient texts, and still today

therapeutic manipulation of body parts, with each move addressing any stiffness or soreness that needs

The traditional massage uses no oils or creams or any other kind of application, instead focusing more
on curative needs than pleasure and relaxation. Not all traditional Thai massages are the same,
however. At Laanna Spa we embrace creativity while relying on many years of collective experience.

Traditional Thai Massage 

This treatment consists of applying a more intense pressure to certain parts of the body in order to deal
with musculoskeletal issues that may have been caused by a sports injury or just too much strain on the
muscles. Our staff will discuss the problem with the customer and use various techniques to attend to
problems at the lower layers of connective tissue. This is a remedial massage more than it is for pure
relaxation.

pregnancy massage to be beneficial to the blood flow, as well as reducing stress hormones.

Deep tissue

The hot stone massage uses heated stones to apply a warm pressure to the muscles. This is a great way
to heal injured muscles, relieve stress, and improve blood circulation. As a less physical form of Thai
massage, it can also help to reduce anxiety and improve general well-being.

Hot stone massage 

This massage consists of using a herbal compress made from a combination of restorative herbs inside a
heated muslin cloth. The compress will then be applied to various parts of the body, working out knots
and infusing the skin with the selected herbs. Certain herbs have specific healing properties, such as
kaffir lime reduces inflammation and stress. Lemongrass can be used to treat pain. You can ask our staff
which herb combination you think might be best for you.
