Scar tissue develops in the connective tissue known as fascia. Fascia is the fibrous soft tissue component of connective tissue that is literally found everywhere within the body. It is a three dimensional matrix, surrounding, containing and connecting every part of the body from head to toe and is literally the stuff that holds us up.

surgery, injuries and dehydration can cause the fascia to become sticky preventing the slide and glide between layers, resulting in adhesions,restriction to our movement and pain.
