Manage business closed periods
Manage business closed periods
In this guide, you’ll learn how to set and manage business closed periods for occasions like holidays, special events, or renovations so clients always know when you're open or closed.
How business closed periods work
Closed periods let you block out time when your entire business is unavailable for appointments. This is useful when you need to pause all bookings—for example, when you're taking a break from trading or closing the salon for deep cleaning.
While time off applies to individual team members, closed periods apply to everyone and prevent any appointments from being booked during that time.
Add business closed periods
- From the main menu on the left of your screen, go to Settings.
- Select the Settings tab from the top and click on Scheduling.
- In the left menu panel, select Closed periods.
- Click on the Add button in the top right to create a new closed period.
- From the Add closed period view, add the Start and End date and a description of the closure.
- If you have multiple locations, use the dropdown menu to choose which locations this closed period applies to.
- Click on the Add button in the top right to add the closed period.
Your business will be shown as closed during the selected period, and clients won't be able to book appointments online for those dates. Existing appointments will remain unless manually rescheduled.
Manage business closed periods
- Open your Closed periods from Settings.
- Next to the closed period you want to edit or delete, click on Actions and then choose one of the following options from the panel:

- Delete: Select Delete to delete the closed period. From the Delete closed period pop-up, click on the Delete button to apply these changes.
