Sell gift cards

To sell a gift card at checkout:

1. Open the Calendar.
2. Select the appointment you’d like to raise an invoice for.
3. Click Checkout to be redirected to New sale.
4. Select Add to cart.
5. Use the category menu to add a Gift Card to the cart.
6. On the Edit gift card page, you have the options to edit and select:
   1. Gift card value:
      Enter the monetary value of the gift card.
   2. Retail price: 
      Set the retail price at which the gift card is sold. This can differ from the gift card value.  
   3. Discount:
      Add an optional discount applied to the gift card.  
   4. Expiration:
      Set the expiration date or mark as No Expiration. 
   5. Add this gift card to the purchasing client’s wallet: 
      Select this option to link the gift card to the client associated with the sale. Linking the gift card to the client means they will see it at checkout when they make their next booking. Leave this unchecked if the client is buying this as a gift for someone else.  
   6. Use custom gift card code: 
      Select this option to generate a unique gift card code that can be shared or applied when booking online.
   7. Team member: 
      Edit the team member assigned to the gift card sale.
7. Select Save then Continue to payment.
8. If enabled, select a tip preference, then click Continue to payment and choose a payment method.
9. Click Pay now to complete the sale.

After completing the sale, the client will receive an email with their gift card details, giving them the option to view their gift card, or share it with someone else.

1. Open Sales. 
2. Click Add to start a new sale.
3. Select a client profile for the sale.
4. Use the category menu to add a Gift Card to the cart.
5. On the Edit gift card page, you have the options to edit and select:
   1. Gift card value:
      Enter the monetary value of the gift card.
   2. Retail price: 
      Set the retail price at which the gift card is sold. This can differ from the gift card value.
   3. Discount:

2. Tap on the plus button(+) in the bottom center and select Sale.
3. Select a client profile for the sale.
4. Scroll along the tabs until you see Gift cards and tap on this tab.
5. On the Edit gift card page, you have the options to edit and select:

   2. Retail price: 
      Set the retail price at which the gift card is sold. This can differ from the gift card value.

To sell gift cards online:

1. Open Workspace settings, select Sales then Gift cards. 
2. Under Availability and values, select Edit.
3. Choose In-Store and online under Available for sale.
4. Click Save.

To sell gift cards online:

1. Open your Catalog and tap on Gift cards.
2. Select Edit under Availability and values.
3. Under Available for sale, choose in-store and online.
4. Tap Save.
