Print receipts from a card terminal
Improve record keeping and provide clients with proof of purchase. Learn to re-print shopper and merchant receipts for specific transactions made with your card terminal.
Getting started
Once you’ve taken payment from a client using a card terminal, you can generate and print a receipt. Occasionally, you might want to re-print receipts for your records or as a client invoice.
There are two types of receipts you can print from your card terminal:
- Shopper receipt:
This is the receipt that you provide to your client. - Merchant receipt:
This is the receipt that you keep as a business.
Before re-printing receipts from your card terminal, we recommend:
- Making sure your terminal has enough receipt paper.
- Having the correct PIN code.
Printing a receipt
Printing a receipt using a Fresha S1 card terminal
To print a receipt using a S1 terminal:
- From the main screen, tap Transactions.
- Enter PIN 3773.
- Select the transaction that you want to reprint a receipt for.
- Tap on the printer icon.
Printing a receipt using a V400m card terminal
To print a receipt using a V400m terminal:
- On your card terminal, access the Admin menu using the PIN code 5358 followed by the green circle button.
- Select Transactions.
- Select the transaction that you want to reprint a receipt for.
- Click Receipts and select the receipt you want to print: Shopper receipt or Merchant receipt.
- Click Print.
- Select Cancel to go back to the point where you can select and print the other receipt, or select Cancel repeatedly until the Admin menu closes.
To enable or disable the printing option on your card terminal, contact our team for assistance.
Inserting receipt paper rolls
- Pull up the latch of the paper compartment and swing the cover downwards.
- Insert the paper roll, making sure the paper sticks out.
- Close the cover of the paper roll compartment.

FAQs
- Remove any dust and scraps of paper.
- Check for physical structures that could block the receipt roll in any way.
- Check if there are any loose or broken parts.
- For Fresha S1 terminals, use 57mm x 40mm rolls.
- For V400 terminals, use 2 1/4" x 50' rolls (58mm x 35.5mm).
Yes, the receipt printing function can be changed by our team. If you prefer not to print receipts from your Fresha card terminal, you can contact our team and we’ll disable this feature for you.
Disabling receipt printing on your terminal will apply to all card terminal sales however you can still print receipts after the sale, using a receipt printer.
If the printing function on your card terminal stops working from the main screen, open the receipt roll cover and:
If you’re still unable to print receipts, reach out to us, using your registered email, and our support team will assist you.
If your receipt paper has pink stripes, this means your paper roll is almost finished and will need replacing.
Currently, the V400m and Fresha S1 card terminal models have an inbuilt printer.
