Myofascial tissue is that white membrane you see when you pull the skin off a piece of chicken. In the human body it wraps and interweaves all your muscles, bones, organs, and nervous system. In a young person that tissue is soft, subtle, slick, and elastic. As we get older, for reasons of physical and emotional trauma, habit, disease, and the drying out of tissue as we age, it goes from being a lubricant to being an adhesive. This distorts posture and causes pain and limited range of motion. My job is to make this tissue more plastic again an in so doing relieve chronic and acute stress,
